this is happening to me as well. I don’t know if this will help your troubleshooting, but if I turn off my phone (iPhone 15 plus), and then turn it back on, my profile picture is back to normal for the rest of the day. In the morning for the past three mornings, the picture is different again. Hopefully, this will be fixed…
