crowns not adding to word length
There are many levels on which letters with crowns do not add to the length, despite it appearing to do so. For example on level 49, I can make a six letter word of 5 letters (one with crown), and before I release the mouse, it looks like a six letter word will score, but it ends up counting only for 5.
