Hi @johamilton I have just had another technical bug in my game! A new event "Candy Race" appeared for me today (no sign of Bubble gum Buddies) whereby prizes are awarded for the first 5 players to complete 10 levels the fastest.
The event appeared on both my devices.
I played the event on my phone playing at speed constantly to beat other players, and didn't pay attention to how many levels I had completed. Instead of a pop up saying "Congratulations you have won" there was nothing and I clicked to play another level, as I did I noticed an exclamation mark on the event icon, realising I had completed the event at this point I had to play the next level I had already opened, thinking I could claim my reward after.
However, after completing the next level I returned to my game only to find the event had completely disappeared and therefore was unable to claim my reward.
Please could you pass this issue on my lovely ๐
I have reached out to customer service, however lately I have been rather disappointed with the resolution offered.
I have to say that I currently prefer the "Salmon Race" to "Candy Race"

Hi Traci, thanks for the heads up on a new event. Along with the BubbleGum Buddies and the new Candy Race, I have neither one. Let me check with our CM and find out what the Candy Race is all about and let her know about the disappearing act like what the BubbleGum Buddies do also. Disappear prior to receiving rewards.
Traci, have you tried the logging out and logging back in soft reset to see if Candy Race appears again? Just more information I can give to our CM ๐ค

Hi my lovely ๐ I wish I had taken screenshots of the event/feature. I was so excited I just dived in! ๐คญ
It is a race to complete 10 levels with prizes for the first 5.
I have to say I prefer the "Salmon Race" because you play in 3 stages, 4 levels, 6 levels and 8 levels respectively and there are rewards for each stage.
With the "Candy Race" I had to play very quickly and with 10 levels I couldn't take a break as the competition was fierce, hence I did end up using more boosters than I normally would in the "Salmon Race"
It is a nice extra though, however I wouldn't race through it again like I did for the rewards, which I felt could have been better.
After 3 replies to Customer Service, my third reply was in great depth as I felt they didn't understand, I had a reply from an advisor that I have had a reply from in the past. This person is far more experienced and was able to allocate the reward I should have received.
I understand now why they thought I was referring to the Salmon Race, as they had not heard of this event and didn't have it on their data-base.
I did confirm that it was brand new and that it was probably being trialled and tested on a few players initially.
There is no mention of it from any other players as yet and it wasn't in the Help section where I found "Bubble gum Buddies"
I believe this person was grateful for me bringing this to their attention as they knew nothing of this event, hence I feel I have somewhat helped them.
They also mentioned that they were going to pass my info on to the Design Studio, and my preference for preferring the Salmon Race over the Candy Race.

Ooh! sorry I forgot Jo, yes I did try everything, all the usual troubleshooting updated my apps, even though there were none for CCS. Nothing brought it back.
I had the glitch with the weekly race before this and lost 22,500 coins as a result plus the boosters and jigsaw piece(which gives me 3 free plays)
Before this it was Bubble gum Buddies. At least I made it into a team before that disappeared too! I hope when I get it back you and Ina will also have it and join Steven's team ๐ค

Do all team members of the Team Community receive the team reward at the end of the Bubblegum event even if they haven't played any levels?
