Character corruption issue

My Iphone (iphone 17 pro max) is in Chinese Mandarin, the game is forcing me to use Mandarin version as well. I tried to swtich this game only to English, in phone settings, and it's not working.

The reason I have problem with this game in Mandarin is that, half of the Chinese characters are corrupted and it's very difficult to understand rules and functions…. (All these squares…I have no idea what he's talking about)

And I don't want to change my whole phone to English just for this game. So please add a feature to allow people changing languages within the game, or fix this corruption issue ASAP…

Except this issue, it's a wonderful game. Thank you.

Yes I was exactly referring doing this:

"I also modified other setting (App>Candy crush solitaire>preffered language>English) but not working (tried switching on and off my phone)"

That is too bad it did not work😪.

Thank you again for the recommendation and alternatives about correcting either the characters or adding the option to change in game. I will make sure to pass it along and hopefully in a near future we can have the chang

I am sorry to hear that you have trouble with the Chinese characters, I really appreciate your feedback and I will make sure to pass your comments to the team so we can perhaps include in the future a feature to change language from within the game.

For now, usually devices allow you to set up a language for specific app, I have done some research and it seems you can try to set up a second language on your device. General > Language & Region > Preferred languages.

After that you should be able to go into App > select preferred language.
