Thanks a lot for reporting this and for sharing the details @paulacalb, @cathyc73, and @nekocat!

I checked with the studio and they're aware of an issue affecting Bubblegum Buddies for some players, where the event may appear with a countdown or related pop-up but not open properly for participation, and where rewards may not be received as expected once the event ends.

We’re also aware of a separate issue reported (thanks for including that @HM100) where Bubblegum Buddies rewards may be claimable multiple times, and the team is looking into that as well.

The team is already investigating these issues, and your reports are really helpful as part of the ongoing investigation.

I hope you are not too hot in Sweden.

The issue with Bubblegum Buddies in my game is the following:

The icon appeared with a countdown.
The event actually never appeared for me to participante.
I completed at least 25 levels over the period of the event.
The screenshot posted by @paulacalb shows up each time I log in the game and I complete a level (win or loose).
No screen with awards (cf HM100 post)

There's definitely a glitch. I can understand that as I did not enter the event while it lasted(by not fault of mine though), I cannot claim the rewards. But I really would like that pop up screen to go. And also that next time the event starts, I can join.

I am also experiencing this issue. It has been 12 hours and the game still is putting up the reward screen has not granted the rewards. I can see from the team thread that others in the team have received the award.

Also facing the same issue but unfortunately I can claim the rewards just only the bubblegum buddies event ended screen appears after finishing a level and rewards that should be already claimed can be claimed again.

Before Level 4207 is passed:

After 4207 is Passed (One ticket is consumed):

After popup closes and before 4208 is passed (2 Extra Tickets are earned, increasing number of tickets to 7):

This means that you can get those rewards indefinitely while this bug lasts.

Thanks for reporting this, and I’m sorry you didn’t receive your reward!

We’ve seen some Bubblegum Buddies issues where player progress resets or rewards can’t be claimed, and these problems have already been reported to the Studio for investigation.

In Bubblegum Buddies, players win levels, collect Bubblegum Balls, and work together to unlock rewards during the event, so if the event finished and your reward did not appear, that does sound like something went wrong.

If you can, please share a screenshot of your final event progress or team result as well, and we can take a closer look.

It also helps if you include your Player ID as well!
