I don't think they appear to be harder. They do however seem to be levels that have already been played.

Yes! We've already know! But I answer and mean the Star Tournament's Levels / Bonus's Levels are also still more difficult as compared to the Regular / Normal New Levels! 😐

The CCSS Mastery Levels are assigned randomly, so they tend to be somewhat more difficult than the regular levels, and the CCJS Surprise Levels are assigned randomly from the past regular levels so far, so you will get used to them.

Yes! Star Tournament's Levels / Bonus's Levels are also still more difficult as compared to the Regular / Normal New Levels in this game (Candy Crush Solitaire), also Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga and Candy Crush Jelly Saga! 😐
