Why, when I open the game, does the word Solitaire appear in Japanese instead of Italian??

I checked what you told me and everything is fine. My app is entirely in Italian except for the word “Solitario,” which appears in Japanese instead of Italian. I haven’t been to Japan recently (even though I’d love to go), so I rule out a VPN issue.
It’s really a strange thing.

Usually the apps on a user's device adapt to two things: either the language set on the device's settings, or the player's current location. The location will either be dictated by the player's actual physical location, or by a VPN.

Is it possible that you recently travelled to Japan or used a VPN to change your device's location to Japan?

If none of these are valid options, you can try checking and changing the region settings of your device:

Login to your King account. Tap the Settings down to the left, tap on My Account and select "Sign up with email" to create an account or "Log in with email" if you have a King account already, otherwise create an account by choosing a nickname, tap save and follow the steps to create an account.

If the game automatically logged into your existing King account, then you only need to continue with the next step.

Now go to your device's settings and make sure both the region and language are correct. If you have variations like 'Sweden' combined with 'Spanish', for example, then the game will set 'Spain' as your country.
Go back to the game and tap 'Settings', then the My Account icon and log out from your King account.
Tap on your player card information (You can locate it by tapping on your avatar next to the current level you're in in the map) and check that the country is correct beneath the avatar.
Close the game and wait an hour so the country updates in our system.
