Hello @hjtx The fishing boat doesn't give you those two extra lives right away when it pops up. Instead, you are given ONE extra chance. If you win, you get two lives. If you fail, you only keep the timed boosters, no free lives are given.

I don't think it's normal. I have used a UFO a couple of times on Meltdown levels, and it worked as expected. Please note that there are two multipliers in this contest. First, each level you win on your first attempt is counted as two. Second, each level you win over the weekend is counted as two. Your opponents also receive those multipliers, so no, this doesn't mean they cheat.
