Ah ok but I wouldn't go on what you've got before as the rewards can and have varied a few times for the special challenges.

If the targets are different to what you're seeing then it must be that videos were recorded before the level was changed, does happen sometimes. Best way to double check generally is to go to the wiki page for the level: http://candycrush.wikia.com/wiki/Level_1068

There are two ways to secure your progress and that is to either connect to Facebook or Kingdom, did you never connect to either one of these?

You can't connect anything to email, only to a Facebook or Kingdom account. If you can load the game on FB, you should be able to see if your progress was synced directly there. If it's not synced and you didn't make a Kingdom account either, there won't be a back up, and without a back up there can be no restoration.

That's just the way it is, the game app updates are always after the PC version version is released. They need time to convert and optimize the game for mobile/ tablet platform. What you might also not know is that it's also the stores that decide what gets released when, it's not decided by app developers.
