You need to protect yourself by setting up the in App purchases permission settings. If your cousin has done it once, it could happen again. I've got the latest Android update and everything looks as normal to me, what tablet do you have? If it carries on like that, connect your game to either FB or Kingdom to save your progress, then uninstall and reinstall, maybe something went wrong with one of the files during the update.

I hate timed levels the most! It's tough to explain but here's couple of tips for passing it. The site is working fine, have been on it all weekend and yesterday so I think your issue has something to do with location. Are you living in Australia by any chance? There's been some issues with players over not being able to connect to Candy Crush, it could be linked.
