Don't worry, this happened to me when I changed the time on my phone, when I switched it back it went back to minutes again. Hopefully that should do the trick for you as well.

The best strategy is to clear large clusters of blocks in order to gain rockets and use them on the ledges that the pets are standing on. That should do the trick!
