I think this is a known issue? I mean: I also have one account now which does not see the weekly race at all. Didn't I read somewhere that they were working on a fix for this? Anyhow I am having exactly the same issue in my game. I'm on an Apple device.

If you want to never see another ad in this game make a small purchase. If you do all ads will disappear from your game @klammon1 . So if you want your game to become ad free buy a booster package or some gold. There is also no need to actually click on any ads in Candy Crush. I have ads in my game but I never click on…

No, sadly from our experience here in this community it will be many months before you get ads back, if they return at all. Make sure you do not make any further purchases, because if you do the ads will never return.
