I'm sorry, but I assume the level designers are the same designers responsible for rolling out that forced portrait map on PC. Therefore, they get no appreciation from me. When they start to show awareness of the many elderly & disabled players of your game who can't handle looking at a shrunken map, then I'll reconsider.β¦
I'm out (thank god). No way for me to compete while refusing to play new levels; replaying my trusty old level only gets so far. Now I can dedicate the next few weeks to stream-binging. πΊπ΅π«πΏ
Re. the last part of your reply, you indeed don't get it. It's not the "opting" part that's a pain in the A; it's the fact Candy Royale automatically loads and forces players into the event at all. Before, it used to be out of sight in the Events tab and only loaded when players hit "Play"--how it should be. That no longerβ¦
If there was any doubt, King tracks player activity for sure! π€£ nah, Sam's Streak was the above image where we all had 0 beads. The 2 score I mentioned is for the following event: Weekly Contest is apparently a mobile-only event that refreshes every Sunday. Players "score" depending on how many levels they finish in theβ¦
But I see @Boybinary recently commented saying he didn't get it either, so it looks like King's purposely excluding players near the end of the map(?). IIRC you're also at the top, right @DieOmimi? BTW @QueenB King removing the score calculator while playing levels earlier this year was bad enough, but now the calculator'sβ¦
pffft, more like Sourest Commiseration. ππ King killed the game this year when they removed the scoreboard, turning CCS into a solitary activity rather than the group fun it used to be.
@purpledots13 You explained it clearly. @QueenB Look at the unintended cr@p King is causing by messing with the scoreboards and way to send lives. β¬οΈ Y'all really stepped in it this time.
I also have a Candy Collection repeat a 3rd day in a row. Fine by me! If I had that Candy Quest, I'd be stuck on the 3rd quest as I object to collecting any crowns--no new levels for me till the scoreboards return. π
The bizarre thing about all this is I vaguely recall King pulled the same stunt a year or two ago(?), only for the scoreboards to return after a short time passed. What makes them think this time's any different?? lol They sure are being stubborn this time, but I do believe the end result will be the same. Well, with fallβ¦
For perspective, I do (and always have) recognize all 6 names in my Weekly Contest (me included) from my Friends list, so maybe the bots only affect some players? Interestingly, since the level rankings went away, I can tell no one's really playing. Last week's #1 person played like 45(? I forget) levels, and some friendsβ¦
So... at 14,999, we all wait till an agreed-upon time, and then everyone can post 15,000 at that preconceived same time, and we all get the 50 gold bars? Right? RITE?!! YOU GET A GOLD BAR, YOU GET A GOLD BAR, YOU ALL GET GOLD BAAAAARS
What's changed is that unless you specifically request a life from your friends, no one knows to send you one. Before, using the Send lives button would send lives to all friends, even the freeloaders who didn't ask. π If you do request lives and aren't getting any, I'm afraid you may have friends like me who watch theβ¦
Those are precisely my issues with the scoreboard's removal: beyond not being able to send lives to friends at once, it turns the game into a lonely experience where you're simply playing against yourself. Your observation about the "Send lives" button only appearing on already-completed levels is also correct; it's theβ¦
The other way (or rather, the original way since the game first came out) can be glimpsed in one of the Community contest posts here in screenshots: ππ Letβs have FUN with Candy FALL leaves ππ Note the smaller rectangular scoreboard under the level box that conveniently has a "Send lives" button, allowing the ability toβ¦
I have 1000+ Friends in my friends list. @QueenB It is supremely inconvenient/time-consuming resorting to this method to send lives to friends (and yes, I and other experienced players were already aware of it). Without the scoreboard, I'm not gonna even bother sending lives anymore.
