  • I eventually got through it. But like most levels at this point, if you don't combine a color bomb with a coloring candy toward the beginning of the level, there is 0% chance of clearing the board without boosters or a miracle. I'm trying to win with only boosters from watching ads and other free stuff.
  • Without looking at it specifically, it seems to be the case with most difficult boards that if you can do the "coloring candy" (which I call "shiny one") - "color bomb" (which I call "sprinkle cookie") combo early, and wipe the entire board, you can usually win the level.
  • My impression is that fish behavior varies by level, part of the specific design of each level. Cognoscenti can correct me if I'm wrong.

It would be hard to prove this but it is also hard to falsify (devs would have to show me the code of the app on my device and compare it to…

The competition really emphasizes these inequalities among player experiences. I've finished last (like way-last, days after everyone else) many…
  • I guess I'm a moron, then. Wait, that would be true if it was a skill-based game, which it isn't.
  • Re: people not contributing but still getting benefits; Looks like the designers of Mr. Toffee fail to understand basic game theory.
