Actually, I haven't encountered that screen. So, it hasn't been freezing up and not allowing me to close it.

I am having the same issue. I am using a Windows 11 laptop and playing on Microsoft. I have tried logging out and logging in again with no change. I have attached 3 screenshots showing the sequence of screens that show. On the last screen, it won't allow you to X out of it; you have to close the application and go back in…
