the daily log is still stuck at day 112 but I would be past that now. I tried your suggestion to log out of the game and turn off my phone for a few minutes. I logged back in and it is still stuck.

The Game Center is an Apple feature. It names you separately from your King account. It is there if you are interested in playing games with your contacts. When you open your app, you should be able to tap on it and open it from there and change your settings. That is what I did. It still opens up but doesn’t log me in.

When the troll shows up I know that my odds of winning enough levels has significantly decreased so I stop there as well.
