Which version of Android do you have?
If you have Android Lollipop (also known as version 5) then simply click and hold the notification for a few seconds - a small icon will now appear and you can click it to turn off any notifications from Farm Heroes Saga. This also works for all other apps you have on your mobile device.
For Android Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean and KitKat you'll have to go to Setting >> Apps >> Installed apps and from here find the Farm Heroes Saga app. In the setting of the app you'll be able to deactivate the notifications.
There are other settings available for deactivating notifications depending on which version of OS you have on your Sony Xperia so just let me know and I'll try to help you out.

Unfortunately your version of Android does not allow any modifications of the notifications. You will need Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and up.
I suggest you check any options for your phone to be updated to a newer version of Android. Please see this link: http://www.ibtimes.com.au/how-manually-upgrade-sony-xperia-sola-android-44-kitkat-firmware-1325589
It's a bit technical so I suggest you contact the place where you bought your phone for guidance.
