the game asks to rotate screen but when I do it freezes and doesn’t rotate

All day long, I have had issues with the game. The number of fruits needed will go down, then immediately jump back up and not move. What’s going on? This is making it exceedingly difficult to pass levels.
I got an error message saying that the rewards would be credited to me later in the game, but I still haven’t received anything.
I used to get a daily reward when I opened the game but since the last update I haven't gotten them.?
