Where do you play this on?

If you play on PC, try playing in another browser, for example Google Chrome. Also clear cache on your PC and do a restart. Keep other programs and tabs closed.

Do you play on mobile? Check for updates for your device and apps. Do a restart. If it still happens, I'd recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the game on your device. Make sure that you previously connect either to your Facebook or your Kingdom account; you can then synchronize your progress after reinstalling. Be aware that you might lose saved lives and boosters.
