Where do I collect the lives and extra Moves in Farm Heros?

All the time I am asked to send lives or moves, but have never gotten any back, where do I go to collect these? You would think that all I have sent out I would at least get one back. Right now I just keep playing until my 5 lives are gone, then come back later.
