Why is the tresure mill not working

this is weeks now i have tried to play and nothing  it always goes back to my home page and sometimes it shut my ipad down

Which iPad and OS version do you have?

Some of the older phones and tablets can't run the game so this might be your issue.

It can also be that you have other apps running that interferes with the game. Try a simple reboot right before playing Farm Heroes Saga to see if it solves the issue.
