Bad Companion change in 726

Remaking videos still and discovered that they changed the companion on 726 from a sun throwing Swan, to a cat thing with a pokemon sounding name (can't remember what it was) that is activated by 12 Strawberries.

Which would be ok...but...

You have to collect 8 Strawberries plus the other crops to complete the level. You do not get any more Strawberries fall down so will never have more than 8 on the board. Obviously you need to increase the value on them, but to hit them you have to rely on the firecrackers which need activating, as the Strawberries are all sat in their own squares, not on the main board.

Even "if" you managed by a fluke to get a +9 on them, you will only be able to activate the companion once. Which is a really terrible idea for a companion that is supposed to help.

I think they should bring the Swan back. Just saying
