Change grumpies into "happies"

I'm unsure how I earned the option to change grumpies into happies, but when I click on it, nothing changes.  I clicked twice and all the grumpies remained.  How does this option work?

You must of used the Clean-Up Booster which turns all visible grumpy cropsies into regular cropsies. You get given a couple of those free after a hitting a certain point in the game.
