Can my progress be restored?

I play farm heroes saga on my iPad. I had just completed level 1405 and after much prompting from within the game I finally decided to connect with Facebook. As you can imagine I was greatly disappointment when my progress was lost and placed back at level 1. I would like my progress restored so I can continue playing this game which I thoroughly enjoy. Please help me with this.
