Does it say coming soon or nothing?
Apparantly the events/minigames are in a testing phase, which means that not only will not every one see them, sometimes they might come and go while the studio move them around.
Just in case its not that, try disconnecting from the game and reconnecting to see if that makes them come back.
I also heard that its advised when using android to make sure you have at least 2GB free. As the more memory space the smoother the game will run. That can also be a reason they come and go.
