Game won’t load after update!

On iPad - I get past the orange splash screen and to the “play game screen. It tries to load Facebook but can’t. Then I  click to go into the game and get the regular game screen with my current level flashing but the screen is greyed out and some sort of message box, I.e. contest results, is in regular brightness but covers the top left quarter of the darkened screen but shows only its bottom right corner. I can’t even see a click box. I don’t want to reinstall b/c I’ve got boosters I’ve won and paid for.

Hi @Jenn_McIntosh sorry, I have just seen this. 
On your ipad, do you have the facebook app installed? Have you tried uninstalling the facebook app if so. Make sure the game is closed from the background, reboot your ipad and see if it will log you in using safari. 
The grey box is usually something coming up for permissions but really slowly as though its frozen in the background. Try this first and fingers crossed it works
