@encantes I canยดt say that this is close to where I live. I live in the middle of sweden and the pictures are from the far south where I use to spend a couple of weeks every year. Now it is long time since I was there. It is the west coast of sweden donยดt know the english name of the water. In swedish it is kattegatt and that the water that is between sweden and denmark. Connected to the northsea (at least I think thats the name in english) in swedish nordsjรถn.
The ocean/water could some times get "angry" with high wawes when it was windy. But most of the times it was just small wawes or really still. You wouldnยดt think that the pictures are from the same place.
Hello @encantes I live in the WACHAU and there isn't an ocean or lake nearby.
Theย Wachauย ([ย vaหxaสฬฏย ], with stress on the "au" [aสฬฏ] in the last syllable) is the landscape in and around the valley of theย Danubeย betweenย Melkย andย Krems an der Donauย inย Lower Austriaย , about 80 kilometers west of the federal capitalย Viennaย .ย In 2000, it was includedย in the list ofย UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritageย sitesย as the Wachauย Cultural Landscapeย with theย Melkย andย Gรถttweigย monasteries andย the old town ofย Kremsย .
So I'll post a photo of the wonderful blue Danube flowing into the Black Sea
With an average water flow of around 6855 mยณ/sย [3]ย and a total length of 2857 kilometersย [1]ย after theย Volga,ย theย Danubeย is the second largest and second longest river inย Europeย .ย Theย riverย drains large parts of central and south-eastern Europe.ย It flows through or touches ten countries (ย Germanyย ,ย Austriaย ,ย Slovakiaย ,ย Hungaryย ,ย Croatiaย ,ย Serbiaย ,ย Bulgariaย ,ย Romaniaย ,ย Republic of Moldovaย andย Ukraine) โ more than any other river on earth.
The Danube derives its name from the union of two source rivers, theย Brigachย and the largerย Bregย , both of which have their source in theย Central Black Forestย .ย It crosses three large basin landscapes: the northern foothillsย of the Alpsย and theย Vienna Basinย (upper reaches), theย Pannonian lowlandsย (middle reaches) and theย Wallachian lowlandsย (lower reaches).ย It cuts through the separating mountains inย narrow valleysย , the most famous sections of which are theย Danube Gorge near Beuronย , theย Danube Gorge near Weltenburgย , theย Wachauย , theย Hainburg Gate(also Prussian Gate) and theย Iron Gateย .ย The stream emptiesย into theย Black Sea via the extensiveย Danube Deltaย .
The Danube is one of the oldest and most important Europeanย trade routesย and connects different cultures.ย Political tensions and wars repeatedly caused theย waterwayย to be closed and obstructed .ย Since theย fall of the Iron Curtain,ย the Danube has regained its economic importance.ย The river connects many species-rich and unspoiltย natural areasย and is an important location forย hydroelectric power plantsย .
