@bearwithme I never heard of anything that goes with apple cider. So when it something local for a place it can be anything. Your first clue did not help, but your second clue migth got me right. In sweden we have a thing that have either just sugar or have both sugar and cinnamon on. And the one that have both is my favorite. But there can be other things that have it but I haven´t heard of it.

You guessed it 😁. In the US on the East Coast and the Midwest, you can find a lot of apple trees and sometimes (if you are lucky) you can find a local cider mill. In the fall - it is a lot of fun to visit a cider mill and got fresh cider and the sweet treat I was referring to. It is very common to serve it at a cider mill (I have been to several), but I am not sure about anywhere else in the world. As you mentioned, different countries have different local specialties - which is part of the fun of traveling and trying new things. 😁

@bearwithme Then I was lucky because we haven´t had that with cinnamon so long. Now time goes fast so what can it be maybe 10 years. The companys (they are just a few) that make apple cider in sweden is not open for visits. So no way that they have something like you write about.
