@EnergizerBunny Thank you, it's a great time, we also have a great time on Friday's through the summer each Friday we have what we call " Live on the Levy " where we have free concerts on every Friday evening no matter sunshine or rain we hold it under our Amphitheater where local bands play for free we even get bands from other States that are traveling through our State that want to showcase their talent it's a great time some vendors sell their foods…

If you ever come our way stop by and I am sure you will have a great time..... and on the 3rd Saturday of October we have an Annual Event that's been celebrated since 1977, that people come from every where like Australia, England, South Africa, and many States from all over USA Canada there are so many people from everywhere all for what is called "Bridge Day" it's been going on for several years now for one day only the Governor of West Virginia allows people to jump off the New River Gorge Bridge but only this one day it's the 2nd largest standing arch bridge from one mountain to another and one single arch and the Governor allows Base jumper and sky diving from the largest single steel arch bridge in the United States, and Second largest steel arch bridge in the world…so daredevils from all over the world have the chance to jump from the bridge and also budeen jump there is no charge for these events you just have to call the Events Coordinator ahead of time to make sure you are scheduled in because of the amount of people wanting to jump you can even jump together or jump more than once as long as you schedule your time space...

hi I love the spring festival it usually happens the first week in May and I also love the poultry festival so it’s cool and they sell beer there which is amazing. They have a band and also venders come out and set up to sell things

I love fireworks so 4th of July has always been one of my favorite festivals. In fact one time I was in Washington DC and saw the fireworks on the Mall and it was very spectacular!

On the weekend around June 21, the summer solstice is always celebrated with lots of fires and torches around the hills. There are prominent points and the ruins lit up with torches and lots of fireworks. There are many excursion boats on the Danube that line up to watch the fireworks. Personally, I don't particularly like the fireworks because of the animals - I feel sorry for them - but it is a highlight in the region.
