How do I reset my password?

I have forgotten my password for the game (iOS) and can only login through Facebook. I would rather not do this. I have gone to the settings menu and requested a new password link. I received the email but when I click on the link it only takes me to a generic King webpage, not somewhere I can reset my password. I have seen advice about resetting it on the web version of the game but I can only play through the app on my set up. Help please!

Hiya, just a thought...can you not access the webpage via the browser on your phone? That way you could reset it.
Also....apple saves passwords if you've allowed it. In settings scroll down to passwords and it will show you all that you have saved . Fingers crossed it's there for you!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have already tried through the browser but canβt do it that way. And unfortunately the password saved is the community password, not the game password - I didnβt realise they were different until it was too late. π

When it takes you to the generic webpage are there any options?

@tallulahtwirl sorry I missed this, what happens when you click on the menu? Does it give you the option to log in? And if it does, forgotten password. I know its similar to what you have already tried but if you do it there it might work?
I am assuming you were logged in via the kingdom if you don't use Facebook previously to that?
