Is there even a strategy for this level? I've been on it for ages and I'm bored to death.

I do have some tips for this level however there is a strong possibility it's changed since. Usually it's just made a little harder or easier so hopefully the basics will still be the same.

I hate levels that make us feel like that!

I have just started the level. Actually, I haven't even made a move yet. Ideally, get one or two sheep from each side out from their starting positions as quickly as possible. Don't get too many out at once, or it will clog up the board and it will be harder to make matches. If you can't make a sheep move to a better spot, then just try and pick up some cropsies.
