Hi all,
Yesterday my game stopped working on the king.com page, it says there's a SSL error on the website. It happens on Chrome and IE. The browsers have all been updated, I have cleared the cache and cookies. When I use facebook and my mobile, it works, but the website version gives either this SSL error message or, sometimes it opens the website but once I try to login or play a game skipping the login, it loads for 3 + hours with bo success.
Can you please advise me what to do?
Hey Akasha- I think there might have been a temporary glitch in the system. Is everything working OK for you now?
Akasha, I have been having the same problems when I try to connect to the website. It has been going on for me for 3 days now.
Hey all- as you have the error message "SSL" I looked it up online and found this forum. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130128165026AAUeWrB
There are some different troubleshooting tips on there. Let me know how you get on with these.
Crusher, thanks for looking this up! I tried it, but it didn't help. All of the things that were listed that should be checked were checked. Along w/the error message, if I hit the drop down it tells me that a secure internet connection cannot be found, or it is trying to authenticate me and I don't have the certificate needed. I have never had this problem before. I truly think it is a server issue with King.
Really strange one, everything is working fine my side. The only time I have ever had a weird error message like that is on Firefox. Which browser are you using? I am currently using Chrome.
Hi Akasha, could you check if your antivirus is blocking something on your PC? It might be related to your antivirus settings. Did you recently update your antivirus and did this error message appear ever since?
I'm still having the same problem after nearly 2 weeks.
Hey all! This can be fixed by making sure that the browser you use, supports at least either TLS1.1 or TLS1.2.
You can use this tool for that https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
