Points not adding up correctly in Rancid Raccoon, regardless of what I choose.

I like the game, frustrated that when playing against the Rancid Raccoon that my points don't add up correctly. I can have 5 of one color and it only takes one point off instead of many, and that is how it is even if I pay for more doubling the points or what have you. Can anyone assist? I am about ready to quit, but I do enjoy the challenge.

I have the same problem in the rancid raccoon levels. It gives you one point for multiple colors, it’s not fair
