I have the ads and I find them useful

The ads feature is great, but too often the 'oops lost connection' pops up and thus the ads can't run and you lose the extra lives.
This has happened so often. My connection has not been lost. To test this, I used GBs to finish the game (my very last GBs!!) and it worked perfectly, right after telling me the connection had been lost. So the connection had not been lost at all as I knew.
Fixing this glitch would really be useful.

Other thoughts about the ads
@Lady_Choo Even do I can pick one of the options I choosed other.
I have played the game pretty much since the start but never had the ads.
I can´t say for sure if I want it or not. If I do get extra moves, (levels are hard) then I want it. But I have, during my time here in the community, seen some that had ads had problems with the ads, and that´s something I don´t want.

Make ads a permanent feature for everyone
I have been too and I have never had them. But sometimes these features take some developing and testing. They are very glitchy. Until they iron out all the glitches, it wouldn't be fair to give everyone something that could break the game.
That doesn't mean you won't ever get it, the testing groups change every so often.

It's completely random. Not all new players have it.
But in all honesty, they are not needed. My co mods are both at the top of the levels and it hasn't been with using the ads feature. Often times they crash the game and cause issues so many that have them don't always even bother using them. The only reason I am not further up the game is because of making current videos and not using boosters. I never use more than the 3 shovels we can buy with beans.
When you save them up from events and daily bonuses and quests if you have them, they soon add up. The trick is to pass a level and not use boosters until you get close to passing. But it's not a race, there needs to be a challenge otherwise you'd be complaining it's too easy. We get that a lot from people who use a lot of boosters. If you need help on a level and it's above me then let us know and I am sure either @encantes or @PummyRaj can give you some tips for them that will help and if I am above you, we do have video help for many of the levels so there is always help out there.
