Its good to hear that you are enjoying the game! As to the top players, I am really not sure, because it would be difficult to work out.

Some players who are constantly higher on leader boards use none fair methods of playing Some use a lot of boosters, but others cannot afford boosters. I would guess the best way to judge it would be on people that don't use anything.
