Hi, New to the community. Used to play Farm Heroes Saga, stopped and just started again. When I open the game on my mobile phone the banner says do not disturb, I am able to get calls but not text messages, discord, messenger anything like that. Is this my phone or the game, it is a Oppo Reno 2Z. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you have put your device onto "do not disturb", maybe it lets calls through but that explains why it doesn't the rest. If it was the game, it would only be the game.

Thanks for the suggestion, but not that. My phone only goes on do not disturb in the evening, it is set to a time. I am seriously frustrated as I have tried so much, when I used to play there was an actual functionality within in the game but I don't see that anymore.
And it definitely only occurs in the game.

I wonder if its something that is triggered by the game then. I am on apple but I seem to get notifications regardless of what is open which is really annoying.
Try this one for turning off while playing games

You should be able to set DND for games by going into your main settings menu and typing "Games" into the search bar.Β You should then see the Game Dashboard with the Do Not Disturb For Games option."
I have an old android upstairs, I will see if I can find any settings on that and get back to you tomorrow if I do. It sounds like something just needs tweaking π€Β

The banner comes up in the game which makes me think it is the background of the game somewhere but I just cannot find it. I have looked at Do Not Disturb in my phone but I don't want to allow exceptions as then I will get texts etc in the middle of the night which is when do not disturb is on. With regard to games in the settings I think my phone may be too old. I guess what I really want is to work out why do not disturb is on in the game???
As you know most days people don't tend to ring you though I am glad it will still ring, text, discord or messenger seem to be the go to and all three aren't working when I am in the game.

Hi Lady Choo,
Just thought I'd let you know that I am all sorted. I have an area on my phone top left which is a shortcut for screen dumps etc but in the front screen of the game it is a Game assist which I cannot access in the Game assist app, it was here I found the functionality to block notifications or in this case unblock. Not sure why it let calls through but hey I'm happy now.

aha! Well I'm glad you sorted it, that would have puzzled me too π€ I also have my phone on silent because of notifications. Usually the kids on messenger lol.
