Hey there, @Sharminparzon ! I'm sorry you're not able to use your Beans to purchase items.
Could you please give me more details about what happens when you try to? Do you see any error messages on-screen? Does your game freeze or crashes? Do you have any screenshot or video of this issue happening?

I have the same problem. When I try to purchase using my beans, it does nothing except show me the packages of gold bars I can purchase. I assumed I could use beans to purchase gold bars. Am I mistaken?

Hey there, @regimper1 . Sadly, you cannot use Magic Beans to purchase Gold Bars, it's the other way around.
The Magic Beans can be used to activate companions, to play Rancid's levels and to purchase Shovel Boosters.
