If you got the gifting calendar as you show here - simply open the game on the date once you've gotten the email or the notification to claim the reward that is shown in the image.

Hey Farmers! We're aware of an issue where players are not able to play music or podcasts in the background while playing Farm. We're pleased to say that we now have a version up on the App Store that fixes this on iOS (game version 6.83.19) If you're on iOS (iPhone/iPad), please go in to the App Store and manually updateβ¦
