Hey there, Farmers! 👩‍🌾🧺

We’ve seen your comments and we know that some levels can feel a bit too tough lately, whether it's not enough moves, hard-to-clear blockers, or just that feeling that something's off.

The good news? The Farm studio is looking into difficulty, not just level by level, but on a bigger scale too. And your feedback here in the Community has really helped flag levels that need a second look. So thank you for that! ❤️

For this thread we wanted to give you a space to talk about what you think feels frustrating in Farm. Does some blockers or type of levels feel more frustrating in others? Does the balance feel different recently?

Thank you for attending to this, seems like the game got a lot harder in the beginning of the year. The side games were taken away, Rancid's Riches was longer to complete, and the levels were all just harder to complete in the turns given. Without the side games, I wasn't able to accumulate any more beans, it was harder to get boosters and gold, and I'm not the type of player to spend money on a game. I checked this board but didn't see anyone complaining, so I figured I wasn't the target audience— someone who doesn't mind making in-game purchases. Over the summer I played less but tried to log in every day to get boosters, but eventually it would take weeks to accumulate enough boosters just to pass one level, only to move on to another difficult level. I finally stopped logging on probably right around the time this thread was started. I adore the game, I think the art work and concept with the farm animals is really great, but it got aggravating with never advancing.

I was pleased to go to the boards today and see this, so I logged back in and now have passed many levels, it's fun again so thank you!

Hey there, what level are you referring to? It makes it easier for us to help you with your problem.

I just had to spend all my gold bars on the level with the buffalo/flower. Why isnt there an alternative way to get those flowers? I can't afford to buy more gold bars.

As for the ads, as mentioned in other comments - players have slightly different setups in the game as the studio tests things in Farm. So some may have ads while others don't and it may change in the future as well.

Could I ask you what you feel is making the game the most difficult for you? Is it a specific part in the levels - or is it more in general?

Regarding the different experiences for different players, in the game - there are different tests and test groups - so everyone has a slightly different experience with Farm. The purpose for this is for the developers to test what works the best in trying to improve the game.

I understand though that it must feel tough without any additional help - so I'm really thankful that you share your feedback with us here.

Hey there, it sounds like something is not right with the game or device here, please follow these steps to make sure nothing is wrong with the device first of all:

Restart: Force close apps and restart your device.
Updates: Check that you have the latest game and device updates.
Memory: Keep at least 2GB free storage for smooth gameplay.
Connection: Use WiFi instead of cellular data.
Clear Cache:
- 🤖 Android: Settings > Apps > Farm Heroes Saga > Storage > Clear Cache
- 🍏 iOS: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data

Here is another example of how hard some levels are.

Even though you are only required to get 7 ice cubes, 12 grass seeds, 85 water. You still need to remove all the ice and grass seeds to get 14 oysters

The whole game has become a joke. Its not enjoyable anymore.

Every so often, the game crashes and I lose all Bonnie's boosters

I'm here to echo everyone else, basically.

I'm on level 5570 and have been playing for years over like 3 phones.

The past 6-9 months it seems as though things have been taken away... taken away... and a little replacement put back (ie the current side quest that requires things like wins and first try wins which is not gonna happen organically at the higher levels).

I've run out of beans since the small side tasks went away, making the levels nearly impossible without extra moves. Which btw- I've never gotten ads. Did I buy an ad free version awhile ago? Entirely possible lol I have no idea. But I had forgotten that was even an option until I saw it mentioned here.

Now, currently, there's not even one of the pet / 123 grow type side quests for me. I love the game but these changes have had me considering uninstalling for the first time. 5 moves when we do buy to finish the level is wild too (yes I saw thats being tested etc). I'm still holding on in hopes that something better is coming.

I've been playing this game for past 5 years it was difficult but it's worse we don't even get the ads anymore to pass the difficult levels. Even the life's you're giving lately, it's impossible to finish the hard level

The moderators or the community managers do not have the power to change the game directly 😅 However, we Community Managers collaborate with the moderators to gather feedback, that we then send to the studio so that they can take more informed decisions!

The extra moves is being tested right now alongside levels being adjusted. There may be some inconsistencies in the experience but we're hoping to smooth them over. Can I ask which level your playing on?

Thanks for sharing your feedback! This is a part of a test in the game with the adjusted difficulty - but there are cases where this might not be working optimally so thank you for sharing this - I'll report the level to the studio as well.

LLevel 4699 is impossible, took me years to get this far but thinking about hanging up the farm, sadly being stuck on a Level for over 3weeks is not fun. I can't afford to buy gold just to pass an impossible Level x

I think it’s very pricey to pay 9 gold bars for just 5 moves which is quite often not enough to complete the level. Also the green beans rewards are pointless as you can’t cash them in. It would be better if there was an option to use these to buy extra moves.

I completed the 1-2-3 Grow and collected the gold bars, the gold bars are usually given the following day if I haven’t collected enough. However, this week, I did not receive my bars.
also, the amount of moves to complete levels is ridiculous, especially now that you dont give ads to watch for extra moves. The grass patches/seeds are so annoying, the amount of boosters I’ve had to use to get rid of them is madness and frustrating. Now that this game has become impossible again, I don’t enjoy playing it, I don’t want to have to waste my gold bars and boosters for each level. Bring back the fun farm please.

I am on level 5104 which is a super hard level with only 15 moves to complete, which is impossible! I used to be able to watch ads for extra moves, but these have been removed for me. I have purchased additional gold bars in the past, but I'm not prepared to carry on with this. If I'm not able to watch any ads, unfortunately I won't be playing as much, if at all, as it's getting very boring, playing the same level over and over!

As others have said, what happened to giving us 55 extra moves with a purchase? The hard levels are impossible to win without gold bars but I didn’t mind buying when I knew I could complete it with 55 moves and keep my winning streak going. I’m on level 7008 and really don’t feel like playing this any more. I’ll save my money and delete the game from my phone. No sense in continuing to play.
