Game thinks I'm offline

I play Farm Heroes Saga on my Chromebook. Today, the game got glitchy and I wound up having to uninstall and reinstall it. This resulted in the loss of all my progress in the game. I have been trying for hours to get it back, following everyone's suggestions, with no luck. I have shut down and restarted. I tried to log out of the game and back in, but the game screen showed none of the buttons mentioned in the suggestions…no Settings button. I finally succeeded in getting to a screen that invited me to log into my account using my ID/password, but then I got a message that I was offline, which I wasn't. I've been able to restore my progress in other games on other occasions, but nothing works today.

NOTE: I sent this after the reply that follows. This screenshot appears to give me the option I'm looking for—Return To My Level—but when I select it, it takes me to the last screen shown below. And when I try to Log In With Email, I get the "offline" message. After a few attempts, the screen locks.

The version of the app I installed is the one currently available on the Google Play Store.

I said the game was glitchy because it was closing itself every time I tried to play. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but that's when I was returned to level 1 and began trying to restore my progress…with no success. I also closed and restarted the computer.

I'm quite sure I saved the game to a King account some time ago. I attach a screenshot of the "offline" message. This occurred when I tried to log into my King account using email and password…it also happened when I thought I might have forgotten my password and created a new one.

I am also attaching a screenshot of the game home page so you can see that there is no Settings button or King icon.

I think all these problems relate to my supposed offline status.

I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues in your game!

I am very sorry to test your patience… I need some more details please! First of all, when you said "the message said you are offline", where did you see that message? Do you still see it when you try to open the game? If so, can you take a screenshot and post it here?

What did you mean by "game got glitchy"?
Did you save the game either with Facebook or Kingdom account before?
When you said game showed "none of the buttons" (that were mentioned in the Settings), can you please clarify which buttons you were looking for?

Which version of the App did you install currently on your Chromebook? Do you have any screenshots to share to explain the issue to the game team?
