In Florida my tax is 6%, why am I being charged 8%??

Taxes may vary depending on the country and product groups. You can find out the tax amount from your provider.
I have read that Florida funds itself largely through consumption taxes, such as sales tax, which is around 6 to 7 percent in most regions. Compared to my country, where the value-added tax is 19 percent, that is still extremely moderate.
In Brazil, it also went from 4% to 8%.😪
