I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a display glitch in your Facebook game!
The Farm game team is aware of the display issue affecting the Facebook game on laptops. And of course, I understand the convenience of playing the game on a computer rather than a phone! 😊
We had no updates as of last Friday, but let me ask our Community Manager and get back to you!

For around 2 weeks if not more I have not been able to play farm heros on my laptop as the screen is small when it loads and you cannot move it up and down to even press the play button. I now play on my phone but i like to play on my laptop too. Please fix this .

Have you tried playing the game on King.com? https://king.com/play/farmheroes
I saw on another thread a step by step instruction on how to transfer your game progress to King.com:
1) Go to King.com and login then click on settings (cog wheel, top right corner of screen)
2) Choose Account
3) Enter your password
4) Click on Synchronizing/ Connect to Facebook
5) Click on the two arrows to initiate the sync

Once done your progress is synchronized and you should now be able to play and progress without any issues.
