I just finished the last episode I had available. It automatically started the next race, and in only a few hours I’m down to being #3 because I can’t play any new levels. This happened with the episode I just finished as well - had to wait for new levels, watched myself dropping down the leaderboard when I literally couldn’t even compete. How is this fair? Why is the race starting before I even attempt the first level in the new episode?
Hi @kittycontraire@wandalouzada@Mehpara_Javed and welcome to our adorable Community 😊 First I want to congratulate you for being on top, it's a great achievement! I understand the position you are in but the Episode Race is designed that way that you can play it only if you have new levels to play. I will ask you kindly to be patient as new levels should be there soon. Thank you for your understanding. Have a wonderful day 🤗
Hi @firebombmarkus, I think you misunderstood me. I know I can’t play new levels yet. The problem is that my competitors in the episode race are already playing those levels. I have no chance at winning the race because of that. If you look at the screenshot I posted, I am the cat avatar at #3. There are people ahead of me and I will lose any chance at a prize because the race started without me.
Oh, I see! Thanks for pointing it out @kittycontraire Here is what is actually happening. On iOS and Android platform updates require permission to be released on app stores. On Windows 10 this permission is not required, hence Windows 10 users are always a little bit ahead with the levels. I hope this answers your question. Enjoy your day 😊
@firebombmarkus that still doesn’t explain why this is allowed. The episode race shouldn’t be starting when that episode is unavailable to a player.
For the record, I’ve reported this through the app as well - AFTER I made this thread - and all they did was refer me to this site instead of even attempting to answer my question.
