Unfair changes to Tractor Dash

Originally, all you had to do was to earn more stars than your randomly chosen opponent to win the prize. If the app wasn't running when the timer expired, you got the prize when you opened it the next time. Now, you also have to have the app running when the timer expires. Otherwise you get nothing. It is very unfair, as it's not always possible to have the app running when the timer expires. Let alone having enough charge for the device to be switched on. So can this be changed back to the way it was? It's not so much for me, but I'm sure there are plenty of other players who are missing out on a booster that they may have to rely on to finish a level.

Another thing that has changed is that originally,. if you got far enough ahead of your opponent, you would get the reward. Now you have to wait the 24 hours, no matter how far in front you get.m Why the changes? I don't think that they are for the better.

@Rancid -- this actually answered my question. I have been winning the tractor dashes but getting nothing. It just seems to restart with a new opponent. However, reading your post, I realize now that I often close the app, turn off my phone, my phone dies, etc., Especially if I am traveling. I guess this explains why I am not getting a prize. As a new player, this type of information is good to know.but I am not sure if I understood it from the beginning.
