In a race but no new levels

 I am currently on level 2845, and my game is showing new levels are coming soon.
However, a race against four other people has started and I’m currently last! My game is up-to-date. Any ideas how I can unlock the levels that other people have access to?

    Welcome to our friendly forums. One way you can get extra pots is by re-ding old levels. Unfortunately, you only get one pot for this.

    Thank you for your reply.
    My problem is not with the pots, but the race to the end of the section.  If you look at the bottom of my screenshot, the person in first is on level 2857, second are at level 2854, third at 2852 and 4th at 2851.
    I am showing as being on level 2846, but that level is not showing as unlocked for me yet and is “coming soon”.  Any ideas/suggestions how I can access the levels other people are playing?

    Hi guys, I misunderstood the question. A couple of other people have had similar issues over the last couple of weeks. The best people who are probably available over the next week are @Chicken_Slayer and @PummyRaj Hopefully they can assist you further. In the mean time, you could search through recent topics and see what others have faced.

    We did have a double epsiode of levels released for the Christmas break, did your game update on the day?

    Hi, thanks for replying. Yes, my levels have updated so I can take part in the race again. However, this has happened a few times when I have reached the end of my unlocked levels. 
    When I look at my wife’s game she has an additional two sections ready to play. The last level I can play before getting to locked levels is 2890.

    Theoretically @Benny_2_2 the studio said that everyone is on the same levels now. We will find out for you again though but it might be after the holidays :)

    Ok, I’ve reached the end of my available levels again (level 2890).  Again, I’ve been entered into a race I can’t compete in.  Others in the race have progressed in levels that are locked to me, and when I checked my wife’s game she is on level 2900, and she seems to have two game section available that are locked to me.
    I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game.  Any ideas how to unlock my levels?

    Here is a screenshot from my wife’s game, showing me on level 2891. On my game this level is locked and coming soon.  :(
