The notification you are seeing there is related to the missing Companions however, you can not collect these as they are not available.
There shouldn't be a notification there but the studio is aware of this and working on removing this during future updates.

The notifications did not show up until I collected the companion. When I went to collect the rewards, there was none to be collected. I am about to give up hope and just take the loss. I am appreciative of the people trying, but I do not think they have the ability to really look at it and that truly limits the help they can give. Now, I do not even see any quest to complete. I may just give up the game altogether.
