From my experience, event levels have always become outrageously difficult. Candy Crush Saga in 2026 isn't a match-3 game. It's a resource management game with match-3 gameplay. Sometimes, there's a graphical bug where Sprinks will appear on top of the marmalade when they should appear inside it. It's just a visual issue, so there's nothing to worry about. The marmalade just means that you have to make an adjacent match or hit it with a special candy in order to free the Sprinks.

I'm more interested in the strength of that association. I find the meta-strategy of maximizing my resources to be quite fun.
