This really kills the game and makes the games unnecessarily difficult and sheer luck. I wonder would anyone have the same thoughts?

This design immensely reduces the chance to get a 3* (what is the benefit from doing this?). It is absolutely fine with me for normal stages, however, in "animal" stages, it is a huge pain as failing to collect 3 stars will have a knock-on effects on future stages. For instance, at level 945, I need to embrace frustration…
