I've been wondering if the lives I send are received too, and also if it matters how you send them. Before the change to 20 lives a day, you would see more than one request from a person. When I lose an old level, it tells me to keep playing or I will lose the points for the blues I have collected. I should only get this message on new levels since old levels don't count.

For everyone except the top 10 finalists, All Stars ended on April 28th. The final will be held in June.

It all depends on how stubborn you are. I tend to wait it out if I am out of gold bars. I do pass eventually.

You can buy gold bars with your money, but you can't trade your gold bars for money. They are only good for playing the game.
