evey time I start to play I get booted out and lose a life and have to start over
I also have the same problem but in my Huawei mobile and since last three days. And, yes, it's really frustrating :-(
I keep getting kicked out of my iPad as well, although it's sporadic. No other game kicks me out and the iPad isn't that old. I've written with this issue a couple of times but never receive a response. Recently I won a level but was playing for the additional points, got kicked out, and the level was never recorded! I had to play it all over again after I'd FINALLY won it!! Very frustrating!
Same thing is happening to me. Are you Using an older iPad? I think my iPad just can't handle the memory requirement and keeps crashing.

Look the content of the level! there's TWO 'Frozen walnuts' and on ENTIRE LEVEL THERE'S NO WAY FOR UNFROZEN THAT! AT EVERY LIFE AND THIS LEVEL IT'S UNBEATABLE! FIX IMMEDIATELY.
